Ally Cao

Ally Cao is an artist and filmmaker from Shanghai, China. While painting in Art Studio 23, Ally taught herself digital art and animation. She has been the artist for her school’s newspaper and her animation short Chronic Conditions (2024) screened at The Princeton Garden Theater in 2024. She is also the Vice President of the children’s division of NJYAA, an organization of young artists in New Jersey.

Clean Slate (2024) won Best Animation at Y‑CAM Film Festival in 2025.
