Jayshawn Lester

Jayshawn Lester is a talented young filmmaker with a passion for both performing and creating stories. In summer 2023, Jayshawn joined the DC Independent Film Forum, collaborating on the short film Voices as a scriptwriter, editor, and lead actor. In high school, he was a reporter in the Orange High School film club, interviewing the community and capturing important stories. Jayshawn is still shaping his filmmaking journey.
