Lucas Wozniac

“I am a senior from Mechanicsburg, PA. I began experimenting with visual storytelling at a young age with my brothers and our friends and have since come to appreciate the art as a means of lifelong fulfillment. My short film “The Core Within” was inspired by Joseph Conrad's novel “Heart of Darkness.” This was my first stab at directing a larger crew, and it was a great experience to work with talented actors who were dedicated to making my vision into a reality. In post-production, I had a lot of fun creating the soundtrack. It was tough but rewarding to explore different synthesizers and audio effects to set the right tones and drive emotional reverberations.”
