Marc Jaen

Marc Jaen is a young filmmaker based in Barcelona, Spain, who collaborated on Little Changes, a 2 minute, 32 second short film created by students at Nou Patufet High School (ESO level). Together with co‑directors Abril Garcia and Martina Navarro, Jaen helped guide a group of very young student collaborators through the development of a socially‑minded narrative about how “small changes can prevent great catastrophes”.

The film draws on themes of environmental awareness and collective action, aiming to empower youth voices and show how creative filmmaking can be used in an educational context. Jaen’s role in Little Changes signals his interest in participatory cinema and working with emerging filmmakers in student communities. While still early in his career, this project positions him as a promising talent in youth‑driven and socially conscious short film production.
