She is the matriarchal keeper of the ancient tradition of ceremonial tortillas, using a family seal passed down through three generations to imprint these vital cultural symbols. Beyond the kitchen, she actively engages in community work, notably founding the “Casita de Sueños” (House of Dreams) group to teach children traditional Otomí music and dance.
